I am very passionate about offering lots of opportunities for your pets to be enriched and am always researching new ideas. This includes but is not limited to; scatter feeding (for all pets), digging boxes for dogs and bunnies, sand baths for rodents, allowing dogs to snif snif snif their way around on a walk, ‘treat’ treasure hunts, homemade puzzles, kongs…… the list is endless and a great way to break boredom, prevent depression/ too much sleeping and behavioural problems.

What is enrichment?

Environmental or behavioural enrichment is the process of manipulating an animal's environment to increase physical activity and the species' typical behaviour that satisfies the animal's physical and psychological needs. It reduces stress and therefore promotes overall health by increasing an animal's perception of control over their environment and by also occupying their time. Techniques utilised to enrich an environment generally fall into 5 categories:

Food based enrichment
Sensory enrichment (sight, smell, touch, hear, taste)
Novel objects
Social enrichment
Positive Training

Natalia was very helpful! She came everyday for 4 days for an hour to walk my dog and spend some time with her. She was very friendly and warming and I loved how gentle she was with my dog. I would definitely recommend Natalia for pet sitting. I have a very nervous and shy rescue cat. Natalia made a lot of effort to ensure my cat wasn’t stressed by my absence or a stranger being in the house. She brought toys and other things to stop my cat getting bored. I got regular photos and updates while I was away, reassuring me my cat wasn’t hiding under the bed while I was away, and even getting to the stage where she would let Natalia stroke her. AMAZING! Don't hesitate in choosing Natalia to care for your pets while you are away from them. she is completely dedicated to any animal and loves them as if they were her own. We boarded our 4 guinea pigs with her for a week and was updated daily with photos/videos and information on what they have been doing that day. Words cannot describe how Natalia cares above and beyond for the animals in her care..... Natalia cared for our rabbits for 5 days at her home, groomed them gave them fresh veggies daily choices of different hays, let them out daily to run around even though the hutch or should I say 4 hutches in 1 that they get to stay in is MASSIVE, ensures they were cool in the heatwave.... I was very happy with the service from Natalia. She was friendly and helpful, allowed me to meet her at her home and see her own cats, which made me feel at ease. Martha (my cat) was always in safe and capable hands and even after my booking, Natalia has stayed in contact sending ideas to keep Martha entertained and happy, and suggestions of things to buy for her.
